Bramley Apple Week: The official launch of the Bramley Bicentenary and a celebration of the role of the Bramley in modern Britain


21 March


The unveiling of a the first new stained glass window in Southwell Minster since the Millenium, dedicated to the Bramley apple, which originated in the area


6 April


Final of the Bramley Bursary, a nationwide competition to find the best new young Bramley chefs. The winner of the Bursary will work alongside Angela Hartnett in the kitchen of her new restaurant


July


The Brammy Awards – celebrating the best manufactured Bramley apple products and those retailers and foodservice companies who have supported the cause of the Bramley


September


The arrival of the Bicentenary crop of Bramley apples


4-11 October


Bramley Apple Pie Week – retailers, restaurants, canteens and pubs across the country celebrate the great Bramley apple pie
